Genderf*ck

This show was put together to highlight the most under-rated performer in the burlesque community: trans, nonbinary, and genderqueer folx (especially those of color or who are disabled)!

With the increasing amount of bigoted legislation passing in the states around us, it is CRITICAL that we give space for non-cis humans to celebrate their bodies, to tell their stories--especially in the world of performing and sxx wxrk.

Burlesque has a history of favoring white-cis-female-able bodies, right up to this day, and well, that needs to stop. We are here and we are genderqueer and we are NOT going anywhere. We are just as talented. We deserve to be seen, heard, celebrated.
